Two of the department's students were selected to give presentations at the Midstates Conference on Undergraduate Research in Computer Science and Mathematics, held on November 17, at Ohio Wesleyan University. Senior Mathematics major Brian Harrison II presented his recent research in a talk titled "An Interesting
Relationship between Vertex Coordinates and Center of Mass," and sophomore Computer Science major Eric Mustee spoke on "Supporting Dynamic and Robust Evaluations of Decentralized Human Assisted Swarms." Eric's faculty advisors for his research have been Dr. Dan Palmer and Dr. Marc Kirschenbaum, and Brian's has been Dr. Barbara D'Ambrosia. Both students' papers will be published in the MCURCSM conference proceedings.
