Research interests, publications, and/or awards you would like to highlight:

Medical Images/objects, image processing with deep learning or machine learning. Publication titled Chain code strategy for lossless storage and transfer of segmented binary medical data.

What is the most memorable college course you took and why?

Image processing. It was memorable for its hands-on projects, real-world relevance, and the ability to transform how we see and interact with the world through technology.

What made you decide to go into your field? 

I'm passionate about harnessing the power of algorithms to decode rich visual information, particularly in medical contexts, with the aim of aiding experts in disease prevention and treatment.

What attracted you to John Carroll University?

The strong ties to medical institutions and interdisciplinary collaborations.

What are some of your favorite pastimes, interests, or passions outside of work?

I enjoy quality time with my wife, whether it's playing board games, going for walks, or simply engaging in conversation. Staying connected with my family, including my brother, parents, uncles, and grandparents is also important to me. 

What are you most looking forward to this year?

This year, I'm most eager to master the JCU system to excel in my job.
