Sociology and Criminology majors and minors may also participate in the 5th year Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration. This is a program that will allow students pursuing an undergraduate degree in JCU to complete a B.A. and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration within a five year time frame. It is designed so that students meet all of the requirements for graduation in both programs. Students can complete an undergraduate major, apply for admission to the M.A. program in their junior year, begin taking graduate courses in their senior year and complete the M.A. in their 5th year.
A special agreement with the Mandel School of Applied Sciences (MSASS) of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) enables qualified students to pursue a Masters in Social Work at CWRU after their junior year at John Carroll University. Successful completion would earn a Bachelors of Arts degree from JCU and a Masters degree in social work from CWRU.
