The fifth-year M.A. in Nonprofit Administration is a program that will allow students pursuing an undergraduate degree to complete either a B.A. or B.S. in any major and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration within a five-year time frame. The program is designed so that students meet all of the requirements for graduation in both programs. Students can complete an undergraduate major, apply for admission to the M.A. program in their junior year, begin taking graduate courses in their senior year and complete the M.A. in their fifth year. Acquire a B.A. in Sociology and an MASS in Social Work in Five Years via the 3/2 program with John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University’s Mandell School of Applied Social Sciences

Through an agreement with the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences (M-SASS) at Case Western Reserve University you can receive your MASS degree in five years by enrolling in the MASS program after your Junior year at John Carroll. You would receive your BA degree upon completion of your first year at CWRU. Your will receive MASS degree (equivalent to an MSW) upon completion of your second year at the Mandell School. Learn more here.

3+3 Dual Admission Law Program

The 3+3 Dual Admission in Law Program is a partnership between John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law wherein a student obtains a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University followed by the Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University in six years. The 3+3 Program is a non-traditional path that saves the student a total of one year in studies and expenses. Learn more here.

Sociology and Criminology majors and minors may also participate in the 5th year Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration. This is a program that will allow students pursuing an undergraduate degree in JCU to complete a B.A. and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration within a five year time frame. It is designed so that students meet all of the requirements for graduation in both programs. Students can complete an undergraduate major, apply for admission to the M.A. program in their junior year, begin taking graduate courses in their senior year and complete the M.A. in their 5th year.

A special agreement with the Mandel School of Applied Sciences (MSASS) of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) enables qualified students to pursue a Masters in Social Work at CWRU after their junior year at John Carroll University. Successful completion would earn a Bachelors of Arts degree from JCU and a Masters degree in social work from CWRU.
