Third-Party Recruiters
We allow job postings offered by third-party recruiters, however, we are equally committed to protecting the integrity of our service and require third-party recruiters to agree to additional terms when creating a Handshake account. If we learn that a third-party recruiter does not accurately represent themselves in Handshake, we will remove their ability to post jobs in the system.
As a third party recruiter we want you to understand that John Carroll University is a member of NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers). As a member of NACE we subscribe and adhere to the NACE Principles for Professional Practice. Included in this document is a section titled Principles for Third Party Recruiters. Third party recruiters listing positions with John Carroll University are expected to adhere to these principles. Failure to do so will result in access to your Handshake account being terminated.
Note: Third-party recruiters do not have access to review resumes online.
JCU does not post personal service positions such as babysitting, lawn care, tutoring, dog walking, etc. We direct students and those looking to hire students to use QuadJobs. QuadJobs is an online marketplace that connects college and grad students with local jobs that fit into their schedules.
Please Note: QuadJobs (https://quadjobs.com/), a third-party vendor that provides postings for full-time and part-time employment for college students, is not sponsored by or affiliated with John Carroll University (JCU). For informational purposes only, JCU is providing the contact information for QuadJobs. JCU’s provision of this contact information does not constitute an endorsement by JCU of any listed employment opportunities, employer, or employee. Students seeking employment and employers posting positions should conduct their own due diligence and assessment of the employment opportunities and the individuals they may wish to employ. JCU is not responsible for any employment arrangements or related circumstances that arise via use of this third-party resource.
