The Program

Boler in France offers students the opportunity to study in Rouen, France while progressing forward in the Business Degree. John Carroll University students will study at NEOMA Business School in English taught courses by NEOMA professors. This one-semester program is ideal for sophomore and junior Boler students. Students can use the courses offered to fulfill the requirements of their major and the John Carroll University academic core. This program is suitable for all business majors.

Living in France

Students share apartments located in the center of Rouen, France and within walking distance to the university.

Financial Aid Information

Students are able to apply all their financial aid, including JCU scholarships, and federal and state aid, to the NEOMA semester. Students with employee benefits packages are eligible to use these benefits for this program. Please consult the Office of Financial Aid for your individual situation.

Directly billed by JCU (Spring 2023 rates)

  • Tuition: $22,745
  • Room and Board: $3,573
  • Study Abroad Fee: up to $5,000
  • Total Billed: up to $31,318

Estimated Expenses (Not billed by JCU, may vary for each student)

  • Personal Expenses: $6,000
  • Insurance: included
  • Total Indirect Costs: $6,000

Total Semester Budget: $ 37,318

Program Fee (up to $5000) includes:

  • Round-trip airfare to France
  • Group excursion: Likely to Berlin and Krakow will include flights, ground transportation, and hotels during excursion.

How to Apply

Completed John Carroll University applications are due on April 1. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due on April 1.
